Unfriendly reminder that blue lives matter is a violent statement meant to diminish the voices of black Americans being killed at the hands of police. I don’t care what your intention is and I don’t care if you have a friend or loved one on the force.

I’m seeing a lot of push against preservatives lately and I’m not mad at that, however I think it’s important to point out that America loves preservatives so much because of capitalism. Mass production, mass storage.

Sometimes the curtain is just blue is something I have a hard time coming to terms with. What do you mean you don’t think the world is meaningful. The curtains have never just been blue to me but I struggle more with the fact that there are people who think the curtains are just blue.

Something I don’t understand is people that make hating things their personality. I seriously see someone posting about vegetarian meats weekly about how processed and disgusting it is. They are not vegetarian so it’s not like I, a vegetarian, can offer better alternatives. Baffling

At least once a day I think about how much I hate Ronald Reagan

While I always encourage shopping small, this year there is panic in the air. I know so many artists that have been full time for a while now, terrified they are about to lose everything they’ve worked their lives for.

I always find it so hard to believe that there are people against universal healthcare in the US. I wish that wasn’t a radical line of thought.

Every year my mom started making the facade of a fireplace, mantle, and sometimes even making our tree. My mom worked crazy hours and I don’t have a lot of fond memories with her. I thought of the fireplaces as beautiful, but I hadn’t remembered it was for me. Now I get to clear off a little space 🧡

Long-standing trauma can make you forget any of the good things. I grew up with a lot of bad but I got reminded of something really sweet today. We never had a fire place and little me was worried you couldn’t have Santa without one which started a tradition (1)
