My Deftones swag finally turned up. 😍 Got to love the bands that also do girlie merchandise.

I know. I'm feeling horrible about it. I'm gonna have to leave a note for the buyers explaining why a very cute cat is going to keep turning up at the door even though she doesn't actually live there. 😞

I read a lot of fantasy/sci fi which tend to often be thickies. I'd say it gives more time for the world building that the story sits on. I'd also always prefer lots of smaller chapters than big long drawn out ones. If they are long chapters then I like defined stopping points within them.

Will it be acceptable to catnap her when I move?

I'm a woman on a mission now. It will be mine... Oh yes, it will be mine.

I'm finding editions to match the later dust jackets for around £30. I can't find a single copy to match the actual early editions hiding underneath. You can buy them in sets for hundreds of ponds though. I'm not quite rich enough to splash out that amount of money.

I know right? Even more gutted now I've seen how much I'll have to pay for the Fellowship if I want to complete the set. 😂

Picked these up for £2 each at a book sale as I wanted to replace the paperbacks I have with nicer editions. Turns out underneath these dust jackets were the originals. They're 1969/1970 editions and I'm in love. I'll cry about the fact they didn't have The Fellowship later. #booksky

Life has been busy with work and house hunting in Bristol. Finally a weekend to myself, so obviously I've made the most of my day. #lazyday #booksky

Possibly. I'm almost finished with Dark Age so only have Lightbringer left and it is hitting me that when I'm done with that I have to wait for Red God. Not sure if there's even a release date for it yet. I may have to read a few other books in between Dark Age and Lightbringer to space it out.

The books that follow on from the trilogy don't disappoint either.

I was daunted by The Count of Monte Cristo due to its size and didn't expect to enjoy it but I absolutely loved it.

Saw Deftones and Weezer at Crystal Palace. It was obviously spectacular. ♥️

This time next week I'll be watching Deftones. 🥰
