Best comment from a local paper is "This is like getting mad that you went to a rock concert and Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson wasn't there"

This one was actually a real event! (Well, a tribute event.) But there are bigmad parents complaining about the "raunchy dancing", because they didn't bother to Google "K-pop" outside "oh that's the film my kids have watched 90 times"

Season 1 of Picard was being filmed *as* the last season of GoT was airing, so it's possible the lesson they took is "ah, fuck it"

Three images from a house listing. The first is the exterior, a timber-frame house with large windows at the end of a brick drive with some trees. The other two pictures are different angles of the main room, which is open to three storeys, with dyed red pine, a cream carpet and a large stone chimney rising to the roof, with at least one mezzanine floor. This centre room is full - I mean every inch of wall space any much of the floor - of taxidermied animals of various sizes. This includes a leopard, a cheetah, a crocodile, several mandrills, various antelope, a lion, a tiger hiding up in the rafters, some sort of bison, elephant foot stools by the bar, a hyena hiding behind a bookcase. While there are some busts and hides on the walls, most of them are full bodies. The cheetah is displayed on a fossilized tree. The owner of this house is either a game hunter or some sort of animal psychopath.

Between takes on set Peter Cushing painted wargaming figures.

He'd invite female costars to join him if they were new, looked lonely or being perved on by others on set.

"Scream Queen" Ingrid Pitt proudly showed me the little figures they painted together once. Kept them all her life #nerdlings

In many cases, the Flock destruction was clearly intended as a public message, as in Eugene, OR, where the saboteurs left note at the scene that read "Hahaha get wrecked ya surveilling fucks."

The message was carried on the local news. At the end of the year, Eugene terminated its Flock contract.

Last week I took an afternoon off work to go to the doctor, and I arrived home afterwards and the cat absolutely lost her shit (positive) because I was home early

Like, the Dick and Damian pair after Final Crisis was perfect and utterly explicable to the Average Reader they seem to want to reach. "Robin is Batman now. And this new Robin is Bruce Wayne's kid!" But no, Peter Parker can never catch a break etc.

Itโ€™s this. Itโ€™s been this scene for a decade. It has been and remains Homer declaring he likes ballet because he thinks this is ballet.

is it good that everyone i know being made to find a use for AI at work is just having to manage the politics of the fact that they're expected to use it whilst fixing all of its mistakes? it seems to have the same impact on the workplace as a bad intern who's only there cause hes the CEOs son

Not the key point, but all the 'Andrew Mountbatten Windsor' coverage shows how quickly and easily the entire UK media complex can switch to someone's new name/title, even after using their old one for decades, when it's an incredibly pampered white male deviant. So, you know, it's not *that* hard...
