We have a smart meter and a smart thermostat and I have to assume they are named ironically as neither of them seem to know what the hell they’re doing.

IMO also unrealistic thoughts on what a long term relationship looks like. You can’t expect your heart to burst every time you see someone when you’ve shared a bathroom with them for years 😂 conflict resolution and communication is a massive one.

Just watched a sparrow-hawk circle my garden kamikaze style before sitting on the fence and watching me for five minutes against the most stunning pink sky. I cursed myself for not having my phone, but then enjoyed the freedom of just watching it for myself (and whispering ‘don’t eat my blue tits’).

This 👏🏼 when I’m not working I volunteer at my local dog rescue. I’m lucky that I find contentment in very simple things, and making people feel good about themselves and dogs wag their tails is pretty much my aim in life.

I’m a midwife. I try and make every person I care for feel like the most special person in the world. Selfishly it makes me feel great. I could despair at the cruel people in the world, but I try and make every one I meet feel a little bit wonderful. Kindness is contagious.
