A few episodes of Gargoyles, some gaming, and a deep sleep.

Last night, I took out Ramona’s braids and washed and conditioned their curls. Sevin did a deep clean on his locs and I gave him a fresh retwist. I was last — self pampering, a facial, and a hair mask. Everyone was looking and smelling so fresh and so clean clean.

Then on Sunday, while kiddo was at a birthday party, King and I went on a date around town, brunch, shopping for hair products, new plants, and coffee. We had so many great conversations.

It was a good weekend.

I disconnected from the news a little bit to recenter myself. King Sevin and I did some cleaning on Saturday while Ramona was out visiting their grandmother.
