I used to be irritated and annoyed that unless you knew someone to vouch for you (which isn’t how it’s supposed to work, but it’s how I’ve seen it work), it was impossible to navigate the hurdles of non-political government employment.

They have these prepackaged Pan au Chocolat that are decent with coffee. They aren’t super flaky, they are kinda similar to Sbux’s chocolate croissant, but they work. Microwave 18 seconds and enjoy. :)
