I couldn't afford to move to Denver in 2021 when my job at the time did. The reality is many of these metro areas have largely caught up with "high cost coastal" metro areas in recent years.

It's already a 3 percentage point increase in Republican vote share since that Marist poll this morning, so it's a great place for the party in power to be. At this rate Republicans will be polling at 100% by Saturday afternoon.

It's funny, the only regular usage of Hecto i can think of is Hectopascals for atmospheric pressure. And many countries including the USA usually use inches of mercury for that anyway.
