If you ever feel bad about being late ... Don't. I finally got to read my thyroidectomy aftercare instructions 11 days after my surgery. Thanks a lot, Barbara Ann Karmanos - I bet she'd be rolling in her grave 🙄

Imagine if Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute would actually provide pathology reports???! I could never! Called twice and was promised a call back. Might as well call themselves Barbara G Coleman. I'd fucking love to know the results of my thyroidectomy. 😤

The amount of mental and emotional gymnastics I've had to do through this thyroidectomy has been ridiculous. I had a double mastectomy in 2023 and was in and out of the hospital within 5 hours. I'd love to know why I was at Karmanos for 10 hours. Absolutely appalled by the entire experience. 0 stars

because they loaded me on calcium pills without any instruction), and now moving my stitches removal to the 24th vs the 17th because of an emergency surgery... And I'm not mad about the emergency surgery but how don't you have one soul in your office that can remove stitches besides 1 doctor??

I've never felt so alone and failed by a medical institution as I have by The Karmanos Cancer Institute. Between Dr. Nasser's poor bedside manner, lack of response to the nurses when it was time to discharge me, lack of instructions on my meds (threw up a few times the day after my thyroidectomy...

So help me God if my Netflix freezes and puts me back on my Roku home screen one more time tonight I am forever getting rid of it. 🥴
