China might go slightly horizontal in January as subsidies are reduced and they're seeing a sales rush right now

Turns out that in some markets it will have DC charging as standard and in some it will be an option

I heard other sources say it has CCS as standard so what is it

Here in Germany, automotive light bulbs are highly regulated. Most LED drop ins are illegal but there are a select few that got certified. They have the light source in the right spot to correctly use the reflectors. Headlights get tested every other year as part of a mandatory vehicle inspection

The GLC is faster, tows more and has higher powertrain efficiency. The iX3 has a larger battery with 30-40 miles more EPA range. They both charge about the same but since the BMWs battery is larger that amounts to a higher peak and a little more energy in 10 minutes

Rivian's and Tesla's Level? That's where they already were. This is definitely a step above those two.

No need for confirmation, only Moritz would put a wrap like this on a family SUV

It is very interesting though. Basically ALL of the German OEMs are reheating their nachos rn. They see that they can't compete with the Chinese on "new and innovative" so they hope to capture people by giving them "familiar". They try to recall their most successful eras in their designs

The top speed of the GTXX is over 360 km/h but it's all a question of how your gearing is

I'm so happy the CLE is getting the reception it's getting. And that is around the world. Makes me hope these cars have a future in the electric age as well. An electric CLE cabriolet would be everything to me.

The objective of this article is clearly not to say "this electric motor is better than the Tesla motor in every aspect". It's only a comparison to demonstrate the insane jump in power density. I welcome the fact that there will be crazy high tech special motors AND cheap standard stuff with EVs

An incident that could've been entirely avoided with cheap and readily available ultrasonic sensors.

The bestseller G 63 which is only 0,3s faster 0-60 than the electric G uses 14,4l/100km (1282wh/km) highway and 14,7l/100km combined.

According to WLTP the G580 with EQ Technology uses 384 Wh/km on the highway, 280 combined. Using the same standard, the most efficient combustion G, the G 450d uses 9,5l/100km (937wh/km) Highway, 8,7l/100km (858wh/km) combined of Diesel.

Still consumes less than 1/3 of the energy required to move a combustion G or any off road SUV for that matter.

As far as I'm aware there are no major manufacturers with Germany as a main market

Win the company car market and you win the overall market. They are propping up PHEV and Diesel. And they need good residual values or some incentives to embrace BEV.

I thought my phone was finally shot. Granted it's a three year old OnePlus 9 Pro but it seemed like a sudden degradation. I'm glad it might've just been Instagram.

It doesn't because that's not a useful comparison. I am very much aware of Chinese automotive and manufacturing prowess but when assessing, the statistics we use should support the point we're making.
