Yesterday we were privileged to represent the Mountain View community from Bramfischerville. We secured an order to prevent further home demolitions. Moments like these are rare and precious.

I have some "fun" litigation coming up in about a week where the City wants to defend its "right" to demolish the homes of the poor on property it does not own without a court order.

Lets see if we still live in a society.

It's not the end of the world, although you feelings are very understandable. This is more of a story about why virtual hearings should be avoided not embraced. This time tech is on no one's side. Yesterday was similarly frustrating with the virtual hearing systems.

Looking at this past wonderfully difficult year I am in equal parts excited for next year and looking forward to a little break to recharge. Next year my firm is facing litigation on a myriad of topics ranging from corporate predation of the poor to child law and a trove in between.
