Je trouve ça hyper intéressant comme idée mais j'ai l'impression que tu pourrais toujours hacker le truc en imprimant ton image IA et en la prenant en photo avec un setup de bonne qualité

today i discover the java.sql "ResultSet.wasNull()" API, which tells you whether the last thing you got from the ResultSet is null. Fun pattern where java hands you a landmine and then a tool to defuse it

Nullable types are nice but they don't replace an option type, as you need to define your own if you want to encode Option<Option<T>> (i.e. you cannot write "T??").
Result: only the success value is typed, not the error
Thanks for the article, I'll take a look
I'm learning Kotlin & Compose multiplatform. And even if it was tough at start, I'm now enjoying using this toolchain !
Some weirdnesses though, like the absence of Option or typed Result types. And no checked exceptions ? 😶🌫️
A collaborative & social journal. It's been a while (2018) since I wanted to build this, but never got around to do it. I mean I did an ugly web prototype, but now I want to do something usable.

But 2025 is my year of exploring so I'm going to post more !
This account will talk about technology & my personal project: a memories app I'm building for me, friends & family.
