A forbidden alchemy by stacey mcwean! I just finished it. Was a pretty enjoyable read, but the second half was a bit meh compared to the first, and unfortunately i think it was a direct result of the plot twist (it’s shocking bc it doesn’t rlly make sense) 😭

just consumed the most jaw dropping, unexpected plot twist in the book I’m reading and now I have to act like my life hasn’t been permanently altered at work
