I want to host a spinoff of Hot Ones called Cold Ones, where my guests and I eat progressively colder scoops of ice cream.

I suppose if everyone copied and pasted the entire War and Peace as alt-text their servers would get gummed up pretty quickly.

If only we had massive datasets based on public messages posted online weighed against political affiliation/leaning and the unprecedented ability to quickly and accurately extrapolate statistical analysis to prove/disprove a claim like that or something.

I do know there’s a bridge app out there for Twitter, but it’s passive and only really works if my followers/followees are already on here.

I really like @bsky.app. My only complaint is that all of the people I have loved connecting with and/or following on Facebook, Twitter, etc., aren’t here (yet).

Somebody needs to create a tool to scrape all my SM connections and give me an easy, non-invasive way to entice them to migrate here.

Every time I come on here I’m more impressed with, grateful for, and inspired by everything @alexwinter.com is doing on this platform.

This is 11 years old.

Seemed way easier back then to come up with a silly idea, write a script, and assemble an amazing collection of super talented local friends who knew exactly how to make it a reality.

I miss those days.
