Don't spend one minute feeling sorry for the law firms that capitulated. They prioritized their own profits over the rule of law, decency and democracy. They deserve the ridicule and scorn they are now receiving. History will remember them for the cowards they are.

And yet high literacy (eg reading JAMA articles) also leads to poor treatment from doctors. They don't like it when we know anything.

Have to hedge with "I don't know but..." and "maybe I'm wrong..." to avoid hurting their pride, since it's proven we get better care if they LIKE us.
