Alex Ross Perry's documentary VIDEOHEAVEN spends three glorious hours dissecting the rise, fall, and social significance of video stores, using clips from TV shows and movies. This might be my favorite thing I've seen all year.

28 YEARS LATER (2025) is more than a legacy sequel. The writing/directing team of Alex Garland and Danny Boyle have crafted a story that balances thrills and ideas equally. This is a really good movie. My review.
