everyone should make merch of their OCs if its in their means. hell make $10 shrinky dinks or plushies out of cheap craft felt. it is healing for the soul.

I wish I had managed to draw more 3Houses art back when the hype was around 😔 but sadly that was also the point in my life where I was getting burnt out from all artist alley stuff I was doing, needed change and was considering transitioning back to school. and then ofc pandemmy happpened so lol

ngl I'm super curious how the new FE game will turn to be like! I didn't pick up Engage, but I still remember how Fire Emblem Awakening was one of the first games back in college to really pick up my interest. and I'm so grateful I got to meet a lot of fellow art friends and fans thru it as well

I'm also starting a new job next month so I'm kind of nervous how things are gonna go as I start out...... hopefully art will also come back to me when things get more settled down

another life update I mentioned from twitter - I also passed my board exams recently on my 1st try! I was worried for a moment, but I can't believe I did it! 😱

excited but it’s also going to be a bit weird & bittersweet knowing I’m starting a new chapter in my life soon

I still have to take my board exams less than 2 weeks from now and wait for my actual diploma to get mailed in, but it feels so good the last 2 years of hard work are coming to a close ☺️ there was def a lot of frustration and tears some days, but I'm so grateful for everyone's support along the way

anyway some exciting news/life update - I graduated school just this month!! yahoo!!!

it’s been so draining on me mentally trying to push thru my final semester of school atm and I just miss the messages of being able to “forge ahead” despite all odds and all that I really need to hear again 😭😭😭

one of these days I really need to replay Shadowbringers and Endwalker again to relive and feel the excitement again I had experiencing the story from those expacs 🥲

realizing I'm down to the last 90 days of school before I finish my degree and take my board exams this summer holy shit 😱 the final countdown...

my wife was asking me about apothecary diaries and as i was explaining it to her, all i could think of is how much i love maomao

people might think creating OC lore involves a lot of thinking & planning, but in my personal experience, OC development is more like a divine vision from a god slamming you over the head with a mallet while ur doing the fuckin dishes or folding laundry

i miss the early internet. people were like “you gotta see this dude. this cat sure is long.” and they were right. it was really long. it never shoulda gotten any more complicated than that.

you ever get embarrassed at how much you like your own oc. like yes i'm sorry this is my little guy and i'm talking about him again i know you're all tired of seeing him but i'm not. look at him

oh yes! even tho healthcare can def be stressful for so many reasons, weirdly enough I still found myself happier overall than when I was trying to work hard w/ art for so little. I still miss art and try to indulge in content when I can, but it def feels nice being able to help others w/ what I do!

ahhh as someone who went back to school to study something healthcare-related after drawing a lot back then, I 100% feel you on this 😭 there's nothing wrong with finding fulfilment in different thing as we get older. I do hope you'll be able to find joy in drawing whenever the spark comes to you!

aww, thank you!! 😭❤️ it's been such a rough and tiring journey some days, but I'm gonna keep working hard at it! can't believe the final countdown to graduation is just around the corner

mostly sketching OC stuff on the side and indulging in a ridiculous amount of shoujo manga stuff has been helping me get thru the past few months 😂

I don't talk much about my personal life on social media nowadays, but for anyone curious - I've just been super busy the past year or two w/ clinicals, working part time in between classes & finishing my degree!

I'm actually 6-7 months away from graduating and taking my board exams! AAAAAAA 😱

Spend as much time as you can with the people you love who love you, and take lots of pictures and videos if you can. You never know how much time you or they have.

Oh and get 8 hours of sleep. It seriously makes a huge difference.

...also moisturize your face will thank you
