Senator Padilla was driven violently to his knees–as if made to kneel before the authority of the executive–because the administration called his questions “disrespectful”.

This should offend not just the other 99 Senators. It should offend the conscience of this country.

Today, we join together to honor and recognize the impact of women veterans. These heroes have fought and sacrificed to protect our country while also overcoming unimaginable obstacles in their dedication to serving. To our veterans and those serving today: Thank you.

Odd, how MS-13 gang members are all ALL OVER California during elections, but conspicuously absent when ICE is rounding up "criminals" in that state.

Instead, ICE goes to Home Depot to arrest helpful people looking for home improvement jobs. It's *almost* as if everything Trump tells us is a lie.

The Trump Administration's forcible removal of Senator Padilla today is un-American and unacceptable. Our elected officials have a right — and a duty — to conduct oversight of President Trump's abuses of power.

As much as the administration wants to silence dissent, we the people won't back down.
