I haven't spent anything but time and ingenuity on this yet, but since I'm enjoying it I'll likely buy better supplies soon.

A band of woven green and pink thread, rolled and clamped between bamboo stir sticks and hair ties. And orange piece of Paracord is tied around the clamp and the band of fabric to serve as a backstrap.

Manila folder made the cards and the shuttle, already had this crochet thread from other projects, coffee stirrers and hair ties for a clamp roller, Paracord back strap...

When I'm interested in a new craft I want to test it before I invest in it. I cobble together as many supplies and tools from what I already have before I buy new things.

Blessed by Axomamma! We harvested our potatoes from 2 ten gallon grow bags. We had no real idea what we were doing this year, but we learned a lot!

Caught a faerie trail in the fireweed.

A view of a mountain lake. There are wispy clouds in the sky, the mountains look rocky and jagged, and a pine forest come right to the edge of the water.

Can't beat that view though!

I would like to eventually get confident enough to try taking the paddle boards out on the river. I miss making stops and picking rocks.

We saw a bald eagle, several ducks and gulls, a blue dragonfly and lots of wildflowers. And of course, the mountains are always gorgeous.

Husband and I spent four hours on the lake yesterday! I slept like a log but I don't feel as sore today as I did the first few times we went out.

Work today...

We first noticed it last summer when we started shifting our garden to cater to more wild native pollinators rather than honey bees. It's so cute!
