As I mentioned to another person. I love scottie he’s my favourite raptor (current). I believe in his upside and he has the capability to be a gifted scorer. His issue is threefold, he’s too selfless, needs more work on his handle, and he needs to start becoming aggressive.

I don’t see how going forward in terms of match up and line up optimization how do you fit a roamer (Scottie), off ball defender (iq), pylon (rj) will ever work.

Scottie my favourite raptor, I still believe in the kid. But I don’t understand how you are so comfortable with IQ and RJ.

RJ can’t defend for shit. IQ and Scottie have a non existent 2 man game and Iq still isn’t back. I like IQ as player but I don’t have confidence in BBQ as a concept.

Well the good news is we are bending leftward on a high Scottie usage role. The bad news is we need more talent and way better roster optimization. I don’t believe this includes last nights game against okc.

When this offseason comes around. I really hope Masai chooses correctly on the NY boys. This experiment gonna end badly if we have try optimizing lineups when they bring 0 on ball defence.

I’d rather lose 30 with the team trying to break zone defence than just trying to see rj and Scottie have issues with non shooting lineups to penetrate the paint.

Take those open 3s when we have the chance. This team is not gonna get into the paint, okc is suffocating once you get past the permitter. We need to force them to start defending it.

Ugly game tbh. This is why we need to tank. But even getting a guy like Flagg doesn’t fix this. They are gambling by allowing us to take 3s and it’s paying off.
