All our members at Wyggeston and Queen Elizabeth I College want for Christmas is pay justice! While teachers in primary and secondary schools got a 5.5% rise, members in non-academised sixth form colleges have had no pay offer this year.

That must change. #PayUp24

It was Brian Lara for me. He become front page news scoring his 365 in a test match. When he came to Leicestershire with Warwickshire shortly after I was desperate to go. Made the faux pas as an 11 year old of getting his autograph on his way back in to the pavilion after being dismissed 🤦‍♂️

What a fascinating read. There must be more players in our history who have obscure stories given the loose nature of amateurism in those days.

Sixth form college strike days announced 2024 | National Education Union Following a resounding 97% vote in favour of strike action by National Education Union members who teach in sixth form colleges, strike days have been announced across 32 colleges.
