I rewatched the gameplay trailer as well. You're right, setting traps up and being strategic is HORIZON. Even more so than MONSTER HUNTER which is why I really liked it since MH kinda stepped away from it. But this is so not that lol. Throw the sense of realism out the window, this is anime, baby.

YouTube must be high on toxic rolled up dollar bill smoke to think any of this is of any value. The way they use LLM models is dumb. I'm not fond of it in general, I frankly find it quite stupid and unreliable.

I quickly saw snippets of the teaser and it looks very much like a MONSTER HUNTER-like with HORIZON skin slapped on top. I don't mind so much creative ideas using an IP but this doesn't feel like it's sharing the franchise's DNA. The vibes and characters seem way off. Plus LONGSWORD?? Bro.

Will MONSTER HUNTER WILDS ever be able to recover from being "Overwhelmingly Negative" reviewed ? Will the expansion be a total flop sales-wise ?

I predict the definitive gen 6 game will probably be the one developed for Switch 2.

I'm now Obsessed with Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. I cannot go a minute without it resonating in some hollow part of my mind.

I finished Clair Obscur, what a masterpiece.

The ending will fuck me up for a long, long time. It's perfect, the game is perfect (subjective), and it lives up to its title #clairobscur.

Great job on the MONSTER HUNTER MOVIE video. It kinda made me appreciate it more. BUT also it made me realize that its elements were greenlit by CAPCOM and as you said are canon to the games. And I really don't agree with that direction lol. MH was great without magic. 😅

I never played HOLLOW KNIGHT, so it's funny to me imagining that once I do I won't have to wait to play #Silksong.

Welcome to the club. It's been the same with Intel lol, but now apparently MONSTER HUNTER WILDS isn't stuck to 20 fps !

Nah. No superpowers as far as I'm aware. The closest you come is characters doing some acrobatics sometimes but it's mostly regular people having ammo issues. The movies play loosely with game lore and characters, but none is representative of the games. Kinda like a teenage fanfiction.

The first movie is fine as a standalone, but honestly starting from the second movie it starts becoming so absurd and head scratching lol. You'll see if you watch the subsequent movies.

My MINECRAFT let's play is gonna be the greatest sleep helper you'll ever see.
