There's a widespread discontent that seems to be growing (at least in our campus) among students. Am sure part of it is the lack of policy cohesion but more so utter GAI fatigue. That discontent also exacerbating disinterest in those students who were already disengaged from their education.

Reading through the User Agreement...content uploaded to iNaturalist is protected under a CC BY-NC license which - at this time - presents a clear conflict when used to train datasets that are, in turn, used to create commercial applications. Could a proprietary, in-house LLM be the solution?

Watching the @inaturalist.bsky.social user group (which connects over digital networks) grouse (on a social media platform) over the idea that big tech will corrupt their platform.
