We have been noticing a trend among new members coming to us: multiple co-founder worker-led collectives/co-ops. We are doing specific programming for them, and we just published this piece that looks at how two of them launched: @51st.news and @coyotemedia.org.

Today's the day for our first Co-Leadership Hive meeting, facilitated by Harry Backlund. We're so excited!

What we ❤️ about this is that community calendars are so important to keep people engaged in what's happening nearby. Newspapers stopped doing this long ago and lost out on an important job that they could do. Glad to see @coyotemedia.org and @theshout.shoutwichita.com.ap.brid.gy bring them back.

Great question. We're not sure that there is for something in this revival/renewal stage. (Though we'd love to be involved in creating something like that!) Our guess is there is something from when they were formed in the mid-50s to early 60s though.
