ICE needs to be abolished, not reformed. But the reality is, Democrats can’t do that without getting votes from Republicans. So it’s better to get whatever concessions they can now. And then after the midterms (and hopefully a blue wave) work to abolish ICE completely.

If people in Texas want change, they got to vote.

Education policy in Texas is set by the governor appointed commissioner of education and the elected members of the SBOE. Superintendents were forced to send out this guidance to students or risk having their districts funding halted or have their district taken over by the state.
