I think the exposure/cover of the deck area is also important to decision-making. My composite deck was on the north side (midwestern climate) and surrounded by full tree canopy. In that case I think composite was best.

After various challenging times, my husband died of cancer in 2018. I bought my kids a Switch and BOTW for Christmas that year. I opened it up to update software and prepare to help them with the game - and suddenly it was 2am. Hyrule was my escape until I was ready to rejoin the world.

I’m trying to remind myself that on a general scale, it still seems true that people as a whole make better choices when they’re in better circumstances. But OTOH, anyone that harms someone in my community or doesn’t fully participate in my community shouldn’t be allowed to be part of my community.
