Apologies for the lack of art lately, all the chaos from this past year finally caught up to me I think

Saw some stats for my area that only about 30-44% of active voters actually take part in the small elections (just ballot issues for us this time). I've heard variations of this kind of data all over the country for years, and it still blows my mind how few people actually vote.

I've been getting back into the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series after many years, and the most relatable part is how everyday objects like doors and elevators have been imbued with artificial intelligence and it just makes them obnoxious and frustrating to use and everyone hates it.

It's the old space marines and cave trolls and hot elves conundrum... matching the crowd makes you more employable but there's a great hollow emptiness to it

The struggle I have somedays where I have a certain kinds of creature design that I love, but I wonder if drawing more mainstream type creatures would open up more job opportunities

Inktober sets completely unrealistic expectations regarding output. Making a complete inked drawing in one day EVERY day for a month is insane and a recipe for burnout. Don’t tie your worth to something that even professionals believe is unrealistic.
