Even if it were a lab leak, it actually doesn’t matter. The disastrous response that led to America having the worst outcomes in the world was all done by Americans, and mostly came from the last Trump administration.

They just want to relitigate every stupid thing they were wrong about from COVID because they care more about being “right” than about being correct. There’s still no evidence to support lab leak over zoonosis.

Some concerning #H5N1 updates this past week that I am watching closely:
1/ Canada 🇨🇦: The human H5N1 infection (genotype D1.1) reported in BC is different from the strain infecting US dairy cows (genotype B3.13) but carries mutations that could enhance human/mammal infectivity.
