Hilariously I think it's his raccoon mask which is the only part of his design I have no solid lore explanation for. Is it make-up? Is it a natural feature? I have NO IDEA, I just put it on him, loved it, and could never fully figure out how to justify it

Brainstormed more Roscoe lore while playing through post-HW tonight, and decided it would be hilarious if Roscoe is reunited with his parents because Mimiru saw Omega crashing into Gyr Abania and went running after it for scrap metal

Brainstormed too hard during MSQ replay and ended up creating Ozuki, a next-gen sylph child who spends their time disguised as a lalafell. An older Yuyuka will end up standing a bit too close to a ripened podling, shenanigans (unexpected adoption) ensue.🌱

One of many reasons I love ShB the most is because of how it shows your WoL as a fallible being who is VERY capable of failing and being overpowered, and the impact it has on everyone around them who believed in them. I'm chewing on it

Alliance raid explorer mode I'm begging

I started EW about 2 weeks after release due to still wrapping up 5.5 when it came out, so 6.1 was my first up-to-date patch!

When I actually started playing, 5.3 had just come out and my timeline was in a frenzy - actual perfect timing because I don't remember any of it so didn't get spoiled

There were MANY Roscoe thoughts and I'm feeling validated on the fact that the entirety of Roscoe's 60-70 DRK questline happened right at the start of Stormblood, owing to the combo of gut punches that hit him before that.

But also... sylph grandchild

I didn't grow up playing Animal Crossing and have only played New Horizons, so I love that I've JUST learned there's a villager called Roscoe. And they DRESS THE SAME

In my first playthrough I had Roscoe dress up fancy for the dinner, but now I know him better? Nah he'd turn up in his armour. Turning down a drink is definitely canon though
