Despite being briefly reclaimed and fostered, she has been returned to the shelter multiple times and has spent over 800 days there as of late 2025. Personality: Melia has a gentle spirit and thrives outside the stressful kennel environment, enjoying peaceful walks and quiet companionship with people she trusts. She is a bit nervous and needs a patient home that can help her learn to feel safe. Ideal Home: She requires a calm, low-traffic, adult-only home with no other dogs. An experienced adopter who understands that building trust takes time is essential for her success.
