20.02.2026 02:37 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Cheapest ticket in same window for USA vs Belgium in Atlanta is $54. $14 of that is a Ticketmaster service fee.
Service fee for Scotland vs Ivory Coast? Zero.
Is that New Zealand lamb they're loving?

Whether you agree with his comments or not, this is not the time for you to be trolling people on the Internet.
Nothing out of context. It's a direct quote. Two things can be true...both Garber and Commisso said silly stuff.
Rest in peace Rocco Commisso.
Don Garber has said plenty of dumb things too such as admitting he hated soccer when he was asked to join MLS.
22.01.2026 11:13 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Rest in peace Rocco Commisso. Always a fighter, and stood up for the soccer fans in an unjust soccer system in the United States.

Fascinating history of cricket in the United States. And reflections on a 'could have been' moment for the sport stateside.

I've been paying more attention to the Scottish Premiership this season than ever. Hearts are breaking up the monopoly at the top. Celtic are in freefall after Wilfried Nancy has changed everything for the worse. & Rangers are recovering after the Russell Martin experiment failed miserably ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ณ๓ ฃ๓ ด๓ ฟ #SPFL
21.12.2025 14:43 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Underrated Alan Parry. The man with the unmistakable voice. Hope he keeps getting more games to commentate.
27.11.2025 17:36 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0The Championship is a hard slog. It's hard to get a string of wins in the league since it's arguably the most balanced in a long time. You could flip the table upside down & that could have been the predicted table before the season with Sheff United & Norwich near the top.
Congrats to the Mackems
If it is a budget reason, it would be an EFL decision, not CBS
25.10.2025 17:28 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 2 ๐ 0We had radio commentary for the Swansea-Norwich game today. So it may be league-wide? Either technical problems or budget cuts perhaps
25.10.2025 17:25 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0No doubt that he's made the team and League a lot of money but the point is that even with all of that, he has done little to close the gap against the other leagues.
If MLS can't do it with Messi, it's unlikely ever to happen unless the owners substantially open up their checkbooks and spend $$$.
Messi sold a ton of shirts and tickets, but he hasn't broken the League into the mainstream. Ronaldo, while no angel, would have been a star here on late night television and doing interviews in multiple languages,.including English of course. That, like Beckham at LAG, would have moved the needle
25.10.2025 13:24 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0A few reasons why the Championship appeals to me are: (1) Results are more unpredictable, (2) The games in the EFL have a better flow to them with fewer stoppages. & (3), related to that, the Championship has no VAR.
EPL games are sometimes too tedious to watch with VAR ruling on slightest contact
As someone who watched a TON of Premier League football, I now often prefer watching the Championship for several reasons. It's similar to how I often enjoy watching the Europa League more than the Champions League.
Part of the reason is that I enjoy supporting the underdogs.
A good excuse to watch an English Championship game instead ๐

First time I've seen it.
Martin is not a good manager. Talks a good game but it's all about him and focusing on possession stats and other pointless metrics instead of doing what's necessary to win games.

I'm finding the EFL Championship more compelling and watchable than the Premier League and other top leagues.
No VAR is a huge reason.
It was probably a result of the Liverpool fans booing the national anthem
