Final Fantasy Adventure completed!
I gotta say, it did grow on me by the end. The second half of the game did feel less confusing, now whether that's because it's actually designed better or I just got better at navigating I can't say for sure. Definitely never got as bad as "please tree. 8" again

It has 2 remakes, but Sword of Mana is so different I don't want to play it until later, and Adventures of Mana is only available on phone. AoM also aparently doesnt help with the cryptic aspect so idk if its worth it even of I could get it on steam.

Everything is so cryptic, I am constantly trying to figure out where to go next. The moment to moment gameplay is fine, I love the sprites, but I'm constantly having to look at gamefaqs and it makes the game feel like a chore

I decided I was going to play through all the Mana games, and started playing Final Fantasy Adventure yesterday, and this series playthrough isnt off to a great start, FFA is fucking Bad

Take it up with Visions of Mana where he speaks exclusively in cat puns.
