Such a huge difference, the now looks sooo much better!
Do you have pumps in your ponds, or are the plants enough for aeration?

An insect with a short body and long abdomen, like a dragonfly. It has four wings and is holding them raised over the body. The ant lion is on a wall of the garage, but the photo is rotated to show it like its sitting on a white surface.
Ant Lion that we found hanging out in @crytzerfry.bsky.social garage. These insects are mostly known for their predatory larva which build sand pits to trap passing insects, like ants. Ecology of adults is understudied and not well know.

Oh wow, they look stunning though!
Re: photos of small fish, this little gadget is one of my favourite things to have in the field (or at outreach events) - it's like the smallest little aquarium!
If anyone cross-stitches this, I want to see it!

Ok, this is a delightful read *cackles*
And I repeat, please come to Bergen later, Ursula!
We have more whales, less poop!
(though I agree with Sven's vision regarding birds!)
Safe travels! I was really, really hoping you would come to Bergen as well, but lucky Oslo then! Maybe next time? Would happily show you the city (and the natural History Museum!).
Hope you get to see many nice things and meet cool people (and animals!).
