A common practice from game companies when they discriminate against workers and the worker files a grievance is to double down.

The companies claim the worker is under performing and will be disciplined, they force them into office, and they isolate them.

Then they offer the worker a settlement.

There was always debates about "Are games art" when I was at uni. The answer our prof always came to was "All games are art because art is a game we play with ourselves"

All the most impactful moments in the story are moments of kindness. The game, to me, is an ode to community.

Throughout the story, the things that stand out to me aren't how cruel the world is, but the kindness and sense of community that exists *despite* the cruelty.

The way Viktor keeps V alive because he is ultimately their friend. How Mama Welles puts V up, how Misty checks in on them.

V has a massive impact on the world, but they don't change its nature. It's still cyberpunk. It's still a dying world ruled by corporate greed. It isn't about ending that. It's about finding joy and meaning in such a world.

Okay I'm actually gonna do a bit of an essay here about why I thought 2077 was so good.

I find all the endings to be really good in that there's no 100% positive ending. Even in the "good" endings, V's fate is kinda ambiguous. Personally, I love it. To me it says "You've got this character where they need to go, now they're their own person."

Damn Balatro is confusing

I'm*trying* it. Only because:
- I know a few devs of different disciplines
- we have other means to support ourselves while we get off the ground.

Even after those are both true, it's A LOT of admin overhead which leaves very little time to actually design a game. Most Devs need money *now*
