Even franchises like EA Sports FC and Sonic reach WAAAAAYYY more people via mobile than PC and Console combined.

They multiple platforms support each other.

worth considering here is the cultural value of some of those IPs. A big IP on Steam, for example might not has as big a global culrual impact as a big IP on Google Play, for example. Sure God of War seems big, but its possible more people are familiar with Brawl Stars.

Its insteresting how nostalgia bait is still so focused on the 1980s. I feel like we barely see nostalgia bait for the 90s yet in comparison, and definitely not for the early 2000s. But its currently 2026, seems like we should have recalibrated?
