When watching shows in target language (French), I like when subtitles match perfectly.

But if they don't match, I make note of:
* what subtitles say
vs.
* what I heard

Often, the difference shows the difference in spoken vs written language.

I also note useful nouns, verbs, phrases. #polyglot

It only giving me an error 😭😭

A1 at the supermarket. C1 in politics and history.

Don't give me a grocery list in Catalan. Last time I didn't know the word for salad and carrot. But do ask me to explain Belgian's political structure in detail from a historical perspective.

Trying to watch fantasy/sci fi in other languages is such a crazy experience 😭

It’s worth a try anyways! I’m still trying to figure out how to fit my several languages into my daily schedule as well… it’s hard but for me, the results are worth it!!

I have to record a monologue tomorrow… it’s the most awkward thing ever 😭

I aim for everyday!! I love using cute stationary/stickers and drawing little pictures to go with my entries. Buying the stationary also makes me feel obligated to use them, forcing me to journal haha
