🤝 Only by working together can we achieve our ambitious plan to make Europe more secure.
How can we achieve a stronger, safer Europe?
⚒️ By upgrading and fortifying military mobility infrastructure across the continent. This could mean anything from reinforcing bridges to widening tunnels or constructing railway sidings, among other developments.

Safer, cleaner skies are a must. ✈️
At the Paris Air Show, I met with stakeholders & industry representatives to see how we can enhance cooperation to ensure that passengers continue to travel safely and to move the aviation industry toward decarbonisation, while maintaining a competitive market.
By working closely with MS and public transport authorities and operators, I know we can create public transport networks that are attractive, accessible, sustainable and ready for our digital age!

A busy – but great – day for me at the UITP Summit Hamburg 2025 discussing public transport earlier this week!
📍 First, an informative exchange with UITP’s European members representing public transport authorities on their expectations of the Commission before the end of the current mandate.
Today, we are one step closer to safer & cleaner roads!
With our new proposals on vehicle testing, it is estimated that around 7,000 lives will be saved & almost 65,000 serious injuries will be prevented between 2026 – 2050.

I am very pleased with today’s landmark agreement at the International Maritime Organization!
The new measure will tackle maritime emissions on a 🌍 scale by regulating the greenhouse gas intensity of fuels, stimulating investment in low- & zero-carbon fuels, and more.

A well-developed transport system is 🔑 for Ukraine’s reconstruction & economic integration. We remain committed to supporting this development!
I’m delighted to be in Chisinau for the second EU-Moldova Transport Dialogue alongside 🇲🇩 Deputy Prime Minister & Minister of Infrastructure & Regional Development Vladimir Bolea.
We discussed the development of our transport relations, including building on the success of the 🇪🇺🇺🇦 #SolidarityLanes.
Fruitful exchanges with European Member States and industry representatives from European and Moldovan transport & logistic companies.
Transport is a crucial element of Moldova’s path to EU integration and will support further economic growth and connectivity with the EU.

A new Eurobarometer survey on barriers to booking multimodal travel across the EU has just been published.
While demand for seamless travel is increasing, passengers continue to experience difficulties in combining different transport modes & finding reliable online booking options.

In 2024, 2,700 towns & cities registered campaign activities for #EuropeanMobilityWeek & 900 organisations registered a #MobilityAction.
Tonight, we honour the very best of their efforts to promote sustainable urban mobility. 👏
During my speech at the 🌬️ TradeWinds Shipowners Forum, I called for a just and equitable transition to green shipping.
We will work together to develop a new international framework for training and working and living conditions for seafarers. Re-skilling and up-skilling are also key.
