I understand. I always sold more books in person, but the ROI is better online unless someone else is footing the bill for travel and appearance expenses. Traveling with a robot is not easy 😅.

My guess is they will revert back to fewer authors being signed so pubs can focus on a few… not sure where they will promo since fewer people shop in-store or watch tv. The entire ecosystem goes. Indies will have to sell locally only if at all.

And they should continue to be treated as such. No matter how high they think they can fly, they should still know their place in the world.

Finally saw #Nosferatu. Very surprised that I didn’t like it. It was gorgeously filmed and divinely gory, but I didn’t get into the acting at all. Needed a bit more grit or something. Hated every character. Hard to say what prevented me from connecting with it and it’s ridiculous 70s porn mustache.😐
