I mean this in the most earnest way possible. If your points of reference for storytelling all come from cartoons I BEG you to read more books. There’s so much more variety out there, so much that hasn’t been distilled through 80 different hands & a single corporation’s S+P department.

The Breakaways by Cathy G. Johnson. Features a trans boy in its ensemble cast, as well as other queer characters.

The Deep and Dark Blue by Niki Smith, which features a trans girl as one of its protagonists.

The Prince and the Dressmaker by Jen Wang, which features a genderqueer character as one of its protagonists.

What with the news of Disney removing yet another trans storyline from their cartoons, now is the time to support artists who aren't afraid to share these stories, especially ones for kids! Here's some graphic novels aimed at a young audience that have explicitly trans characters (names in alt):
