Buu was able to be killed because of the unique nature of him and the Genki Dama.

The Genki Dama is a special attack that destroys evil, and Buu is pure evil.

When Kid Buu fights SSJ3 Goku, he's not being very serious. He's playing around most of the time. He seems to take no real damage and has unlimited stamina.

To this day, we have no idea what the upper limits of Buu's strength is.

From my perspective, it SEEMS like Kid Buu should only be as strong as Fat Buu, BUT remember that truly remarkable power in Dragonball comes from Ki.

And Ki comes from clarity of mind and purpose. Kid Buu being the purest form has the clearest mind and is able to access his ki effortlessly.

it is not like a REAL transformation, which tend to be at least x10 base form.

It's the difference of having $10 change into $14,
or having $10 turn into $100.

But when he absorbs Gotenks, the change in strength is not remarkable. It's only enough to close the gap between him and Mystic Gohan. Which signals to me that the change in power when he absorbs people is MARGINAL.

It might a power boost of 5% or as much as 40%, but...

SSJ3 Goku was able to easily throttle Fat Buu. If they didn't make up some time limit bullshit, Goku probably could have beat Buu right there.

"Super Buu" is just as strong as Fat Buu, they just moved some stuff around.

So, the question is who is stronger, Kid Buu or Buuhan?

Seems to me that Kid Buu is the strongest.

Let's do some comparisons...

the only way Buu can reproduce is to hybridize the Kais.

Anyway... could it be possible that the Evil Buu is not just his evil side, but something else that he absorbed? That would NOT make a lot of sense, because anything he absorbed should be able to manifest itself.

Alternatively, it could be that the magical nature of the Kai's makes it so if they get absorbed, the become permanently "buu-ified." (That would mean that Shin said at the beginning of Daima would not work.)

That would be an interesting prospect. Buu is like a virus infecting the Kais, or...

But why is it that this Fat Supreme Kai became entirely Majin Buu? Like, when they went inside Buu, they found Goten, Trunks, Gohan, and Fat Buu, not the Fat Kai.

I had assumed that Fat Kai was absorbed so long ago that Buu "digested" him, and there was no separating the two again.

What interesting is that Fat Buu has many of the characteristics of this Fat Supreme Kai. This is how Fat Buu got the cape and vest. He's manifesting the characteristics of the people he's absorbed, just like he did with Gotenks / Gohan.

"Enough of this - I'm in the driver seat now."

And Fat Buu didn't even understand what was happening.

I think Majin Buu is so complex, he doesn't even know himself.

The parameters of his own powers don't even make sense to him.

Like, obviously, when his dog was shot, he was very angry. But instead of just killing those guys, he manifested another personality that basically said -

Woah, issue 270 starts with the birth of Blackheart. I never have imagined him as a Daredevil villain.

I think Pyro and Blob as two incompetent government agents is a pretty good angle. Maybe Pyro should spend some time slumming it as a DD villain.

These splash pages are great, but they'll never be as impressive in digital as they are when you're used to seeing them printed in paper.

Here we have a chapter with Pyro and the Blob, and something called "Freedom Force." Never heard of it.

I wonder, has the Blob ever fought the Kingpin? Obviously, Blob is stronger, but it's mildly interesting. They couldn't be more opposites.

In the second issue, Matt crashes at a house, overhears a shakedown, and goes after the mob guy. DD parrots back all the dark shit he was talking, and almost has the guy hang himself. And when he does, he also frees the mob guy's brother from the mob life.

He gets up and leaves, he has a mini-adventure outside of Manhattan, and feels like a hero again.
It's like a little treat.

Matt goes to confession. If I remember correctly, he only goes to confession ONCE after Guardian Devil. Wonder how many times he'll do this before then.

Oh, awesome, Lance. Lance and Bullet are the highlight of this run. I said it before, they're like Matt and his dad.
