I got to make delicious nachos for my family last night.
Our internet was out for several days but got fixed yesterday.
I pulled the cool full-art Zapdos Ex on TCG pocket.
My cat enjoyed playing with his little strawberry mouse today.
I wish knowing what is moral was easy. I wish even more that acting in accordance with my own sense of morality was easy.
Even so, there’s something I find beautiful about the need to struggle for moral good.
Threads is an echo chamber on the left, Twitter on the Right, I hope this stays a sane normal place where some disagreement can be politely explored. Too much to ask??

Social media gives you the feeling of being around people, but doesn’t provide the support or hope that actual human contact provides. If a person tries to work for a better future without having individuals in mind for whom they are building that future, it won’t happen.

Bluesky is a breath of fresh air at the moment for people lacking that sense of community, but social media will never replace irl contact.
This is a helpful observation about the value of echo chambers, thank you.
I still dislike how my echo chamber caused me to be so out of touch with the reality of this election cycle, and I hate how it has contributed to my misunderstanding my friends on the right.
