STORMY TUESDAY! Severe thunderstorm warning's up for Marin Co. until 3pm. Seeing downpours, strong winds, rough surf & flooding in Bay Area so stay off the roads if you can! Several more hours of this to go! Keeping chance of thunderstorms in the forecast. Sierra's picking up snow!

DROUGHT UPDATE: Drought in So Cal is worse, now severe to extreme. More areas in Bay Area are abnormally dry & we're falling behind in terms of rain! This weekend So Cal gets much needed precip but, also there's a risk of mudslides in burn areas. Chance of spotty showers in Bay Area & gustier.

WIND ADVISORY: Goes up in the hills this weekend as gusty offshore winds develop raising fire concerns. Stay safe everyone!

Another earthquake west of SanFrancisco, prelim magnitude 3.0. The one earlier this AM was 3.7 & it was felt by many people in BayArea. Did you feel either one?

You can see how dangerous & rough surf is in Santa Cruz tonight where part of wharf was washed away earlier in day!

LIFE-THREATENING SURF: pounding coast tonight! Dangerous waves continue overnight & that's when next storm moves in w/gusty winds, heavy rain & chance of thunder. Stay out of the water everyone and remain safe!

WINTER TOMORROW + PRECIP TIMELINE: Season changes tomorrow AM & winter brings with it wet weather! Showers this weekend, not a washout. Stronger storms move in next week w/heavier rain & gusty winds at times. Dry for Christmas!
