I'm a true crime girly, but that Ed Gein netflix show is actually too much for me. I don't think I can finish it. I already knew all the details of the case, but the way it's presented (and other bits of exposition) are just too grotesque for me. Truly disturbing to watch.

Loyalty can feel like a feeling. But it's a choice. You don't have to stay beholden to what your heart tells you when your head is screaming at you to get outta there. 🩷

I've learned so much from being laid off. The main thing is: don't waste loyalty on a business in hopes that one day they will pay or treat you right. I should've left sooner. Way sooner. The lay off was a blessing.

Not ready to talk about my new job yet as I have A LOT to build and pull together, but I will say:

- My boss is wonderful in that he is down to earth and empowers me to do my job
- I'm paid almost twice as much as my last role
- My mental and physical health has dramatically improved.

Personally I'd have named this tonic "bald as a bat"

Caught a big beetle in my room and put it in a glass so I could observe it. It was cute and I started baby talking to it and then a WHOLE ASS WOLF SPIDER CHARGED AT THE GLASS like girl WHAT

then the spider froze when it saw me with my hand on top of the glass and all 3 of us were confused af 🪲🕷️🤷‍♀️
