melissa he has been eating the cat litter but like...it's just cat litter. there's no cat poop in it. he's just straight up chowing down on clean litter

sooty is back on meds but is already doing better, so hopefully he can stay on the upswing this time

poor little sooty had a bit of a decline today so he is back at the vet, fingers crossed we can get him back on the path of health soon!

i think it’ll be a while before we see improvement; i had to pause their oral meds and we’re moving to a 7 on 7 off schedule since they’re so little, so at least three more weeks until they’ve had their full course ❤️

it’s deceptive, most of the ringworm is on their legs and back of ears 😂 (they are SO ringwormy, the most of any litter i’ve had)

anyways happy new year from sooty and tawny!! burrow and snowy were too busy to appear

bc i already took the old (broken) dresser to the landfill on the weekend bc if i didn’t do it immediately it would stay in my living room for a year (evidence: the fact i lived with my broken dresser for half a year, and my dismantled desk has been in my yard falling apart for a year until now)

the last few days have been unexpectedly chaotic - my 4 month old niece suffered a skull fracture and was medically flown here (seattle) (she is ok!!) so i’ve been shuttling back and forth nonstop between pets and family. i have a half finished dresser and all my clothes are strewn across the floor

i guess i will call the vet tmw to see if i need to get a refill for the extra one or if 95% of the antibiotic course is good enough…

he also ate so much paper??

huxley managed to tear into callie’s packets of antibiotics 😩 (aided by ellie i’m fairly certain, while i was with the owlets) i think he only managed to get 1 - 1 1/2 though he tore open a bunch though now i am
paranoid and need to go recount
