Am I safe to assume you were referring to me, as the one who needed to be lectured?

My reasoning aside for being obliviously insensitive, I will sit down and do some reading. If there is an article you would recommend as a starting point. I'm all eyes.

The validity of the Christian works (New Testament) comes into question the moment you read the texts that were denied early on. Compounded by the fact that they reordered the OT from the source material to justify their belief in Jesus.

Is someone antisemitic simply because they are Christian?

12.03.2025 14:31 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 2    πŸ“Œ 0

Common Christians?

Yeah. We're done. I was raised Catholic. I stepped away from Christianity a long, long time ago because of the hypocrisy and inconsistency. But the "Common" Christian are not the ones murdering Jews.

It's the fakes. The ones on the pulpit grifting off of the faith.

It takes skills to stretch, "The leaders whipped up the crowd into a frenzy to force Pilate to put Jesus to death," into antisemitic, "You said Jews killed Jesus!"

It is on the same level as men who continue to use the Bible to justify slavery.

12.03.2025 14:26 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

No.
You told me it wasn't there. I said it was. Then you jumped to, "it isn't real" which I never said it was. Then you accused me of switching topics. Which you are the one doing. All while accusing me of encouraging antisemitism.

Christian leaders have and do abuse the faith. And the faithful.

12.03.2025 14:17 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

"What specifically did I argue wasn't in the gospels? What specifically? You changed topics."

12.03.2025 14:10 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Take a deep breath. I said you don't explain sex to a child when expressing that I have no interest in lecturing a common Christian about their faith. So yeah, jumping to comparing the same thing to a child claiming Jews killed Jesus is a pretty long leap.

12.03.2025 14:10 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

"Hi. That's not in the NT. And even if the NT did blame Pharisees for the death of Jesus, it's ahistorical, and the claim gets Jews killed. And ffs, Pilate was historically so brutal that he was later recalled to stand trial in Rome. He wasn't a fuzzy bunny as described in the gospels."

12.03.2025 14:02 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

First, you argued that it wasn't in the book. Then you start acting like I was insisting it was real. Now you are trying to claim I am changing the subject. I am on defense, not offense here buddy.

Nice analogy though, comparing the common Christian's faith to mass murder.

12.03.2025 13:57 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

"That isn't in the book"
"Yes it is. Right here"
I never said it was real, true, or honest depiction of events. I said it was in the book.

I was addressing a Christian. You don't explain sex to a 5 year old who said their friend said babies come from a garden.

12.03.2025 13:41 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

The entire faith is intentionally antisemitic and anti woman.

I was addressing a christian who made a reference to Jesus. That is not the time to sit and lecture them on the origin of their religion and the horrible shit it continues to do today.

The point of my original comment was mob mentality isn't something that only infects those on the extreme ends. Moderates can easily be swayed.

I am well aware of the sketchy nature of the Bible stories. I never said, "It was true." I said, "It's in the book."

12.03.2025 13:26 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Rome adopted Christianity shortly after 300CE. A lot of the NT was organized by Romans who, as you said, hated Jews.

The modern Christian religion was structured by, and influenced by, those same Jewish hating Romans. This was not the point of my original comment.

12.03.2025 13:23 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

When did I say Jesus hated them? He absolutely spoke out about their corruption. Mathew 23. (Matthew 23: 13 in particular) And you are correct, It isn't Mark 15:9. That is just the start of the paragraph. Mark 15:11.

Failing to read context around verses is what leads to antisemitism.

12.03.2025 13:06 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Except there are those who have been saying this for years. A lot of people don't want to give up their conveniences. πŸ˜…

12.03.2025 10:40 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

(The leaders had become corrupt, not the people.)

12.03.2025 10:36 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Technically Charles Manson and Al Capone never killed anyone either.

Only a fool associates a people with their leaders. And yes, a lot of people are fools. But the whole point of the money changers in the temple is the fact that they were CORRUPT. Had lost their way. Did not serve their god.

12.03.2025 10:36 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 4    πŸ“Œ 1

Mark 15:9

12.03.2025 10:30 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Mark 3:6
Mark 15:9
And yes, the Christian faith is anti-semitic. It became that way due to the Roman influence after it was adopted as the official religion.

πŸ™„
The Pharisees were corrupt, not the Jewish people. That was the whole point of the money changers in the temple.

The size of that font on his print out isn't normal.

So, if they cut Social Security...

Do they plan to return everyone's money to them? The money people paid into the system?

11.03.2025 23:24 β€” πŸ‘ 5    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

(He tried to get out of putting Jesus to death simply because the Pharisees, whom he despised, wanted him to do it. They had whipped up a crowed and threatened a riot. Which would have landed him in hot water.)

11.03.2025 23:20 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 2    πŸ“Œ 0

I find it weird that you jump to the conclusion that I view Pilate as some fuzzy bunny.

He hated the Jewish people. So when the Pharisees, who were the ones who sent guards to arrest Jesus mind you, came to him asking for the death penalty, he tried to say, "No" because it was what they wanted.

11.03.2025 23:19 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

A wise man measures twice and cuts once.
So the fact that they are taking a hammer to the system and knocking things out with reckless abandon only shows how unintelligent they really are.

There are cleaner ways to dismantle the system. They control all 3 branches after all.

I find it funny he is actually calling it a boycott instead of saying we are, "Canceling" Musk.

The moment it gets used against Conservatives who previously believed themselves popular enough to withstand a few, "Liberals" refusing to use their service.
