your control of values is very good, and in your darker works you still often use clear light and accents to control composition and direct attention so I don't think they risk getting overlooked!

Almost daily on my timeline I'll be like "why is this image so dark? I can hardly see what's going on ... ... oh, the artist probably drew and posted it in a *dark* environment where it looks way better."

Tip: if you drew a scene that's low-key (dark values), check how it looks on a white background.

I'm one of those weirdos who use light mode all over social media, and some dark images tend to lose impact on a white background, making them less likely to hold my (probably other viewers') attention.

Here’s an unused concept of Rio Vidal—brilliantly played by Aubrey Plaza— I got to work on for #AgathaAllAlong.

This was a fun character to play with, and it was interesting to see how we could incorporate roots, earth and decay into both her human and skeleton designs.

Or even just nominated. Sometimes I feel so invisible. Argh, why can't I just be happy for my friend? I'm a terrible person."

It can be so hard NOT to compare yourself to others sometimes, esp when browsing social media. To avoid getting sucked into a black hole of envy/resentment, try to focus on enjoying your own journey at your own pace.
