this is pretty much the same Orange Co municipal early voting schedule as 2019, 2021 and 2023 except move of Carrboro site to Drakeford Center (library), and continues the Orange County quirk of closing early voting earlier on Halloween !

I’ve had the same question twice this week about two new at-large seats in 2026 on the Wake Co Commission under www.ncleg.gov/enactedlegis... β€” voters can vote for up to two candidates in primary or general, they are not separate seats. In 2026 general, top finisher gets 4 years, 2nd place 2 years.

The next 2 meetings of the Wake County Board of Elections will be an organizational meeting at noon July 22 and a meeting 3pm Aug 19. At the latter meeting the Board will elect 216 chief judges and 432 judges of election for the 216 precincts, and set early voting for the Mar 3, 2026 primary /2
