Yep and I'm honestly looking forward to what they bring to the table. Today's kids are so different from kids in my gen. Just like my daughters are more accepting and open-hearted than what most of gen x was. D and her friends are my hope for the future.

I absolutely see what you are saying. I know what you are saying. And yes white people have made this problem what it is. And no we never have acknowledged our ignorance. I see it. I acknowledge. I want to fix what I can.

I told my hubs that my solution was to take some of those damn hotels & turn them into community homes. People who are serving community service can teach something if they have a skill to teach. Residents can cook together. There can be a day care and kids can go to a real school.

I have always argued that combating homelessness would require a multi-faceted approach. Sadly I underestimated how in depth it would have to be.

I had to check the comments to make sure that my fever hadn't risen. I was seriously afraid I was hallucinating. But nope. You woke up and chose violence. 😭

I will say that you might have to experiment with the meds you take. Some work better than others for each person. Good luck. Rest well during the pain. It does help.

One of our sweetest cats dropped a spider at my daughter's hand while she was cleaning something off the floor. He was so proud of his catch. It was a good 2 inches of heart attack but he was proud. It also looked weird. White & silver. She smashed it. Turns out she killed a plastic spider.🤣
