Yes, but they already have funding. Democrats want some explicit laws written down about how ICE and CPB are allowed to operate. If you think that we don't need them because they're already rules, please find them.

Be cruel back to citizens? It doesn't hurt Democrats when Republicans call them names. That's not a big deal. But withholding SNAP, Medicaid, ACA subsidies, and other things people need? That's the cruelty I'm talking about.

We still have a ways to go on the counting, so we'll see, but even if she eeks out a win, it's still a positive sign.

But Schumer went for months early in this term blocking Trunp nominees until Republicans lowered the vote threshold. And Democrats have used other procedures. But they can't stop everything. And leading Democrats is like herding cats.

Until they change the rules in the Senate, some Democrats are needed for some spending bills. This is useful to Republicans for many reasons, one of which being to piss liberals off.

I can't explain why 5 or 6 keep voting for judges that are going to pass without them I'll give you that one.

There's no way for Democrats to shut it down right now. Hopefully they can make ICE's job harder, or make it easier for judges to interfere.

This whole thing sucks right now, but Democrats are not only the minority party, and Republicans are willing to starve people.

Fortunately, no they aren't. The worst actually thing you can say about them is that they still operating as if the system will function properly, and that people get hungry when they don't have food.
