Start game, check neighbours, find Atilla, check policies, spot Honor, reset.

Also, since the Huns take city names from other in-game cities, Mendes means Egypt is also in play! Talk about Mr. Obnoxious #1 and Mr. Obnoxious #2.

moralism
Moralists don’t bother with β€œif you can’t beat β€˜em, join β€˜em”; the moralist simply says, β€œyou can’t beat them.” Contend with the horrors of capital with radical acceptance. It is what it is. Capital is what we have to work with; of what pragmatic use is conscience? There are two genocides on offer, one larger, one smaller. Worry not about injustice, worry not about grief, about pain: one or the other is going to happen, which is closer to your goal? Think in terms of sums on a ledger. No right, no wrong, just motion towards or away from… whatever it is you’re trying to do.

It’s a kind of seductive joylessness. A relief from moral crisis by leaving morals out of it. Centrists don’t care what’s good, they care what’s feasible, which means, if you make good things feasible, you can get results working with moralists. The crushing irony of the only movement that can accomplish anything good in this world being the one that does not concern itself with goodness. But to work with moralists, you must speak their language. You will have to make arguments in favor of β€œsmall genocide,” you will have to put yourself in conflict with people who oppose β€œsmall genocide,” and you will have to accept that there are arguments - made by your compatriots - that the shelling of Revachol, from a certain point of view, was… productive. After all, the Moralists are the ones who did it. The war crime that stabilizes a region is not, to them, a β€œnecessary evil”; if it was necessary, it was no evil at all. Why shed tears for what needed to happen?

Comic. Thought Process While Reading A Big Number: 54,000,000,000,000,000,000,0000,0000,054,000"000,00c2ef46
[comments progress along the line, approximately every 3 digits] (1) 54! Great! I know that number. Solid start. (2) Oh, a comma and some zeros. Cool. Must be at least 54 thousand. (3) A second comma! I wonder if we’re talking population or money. (4) Yikes! If this is money, it’s a *lot* of money. (5) Why am I reading this? Whatever this number is, I’m not going to be able to visualize it. (6) All right, either someone made a unit conversion error or this is one of those incomprehensible astronomy numbers. (7) [4 zeroes between commas instead of 3]] Oh no. Is this a misplaced comma or an extra zero? I guess we’ll see if the next group has two zeros or three. If it’s two, we can at least hope the digits are right. (8) [4 zeroes between commas] Oh *no*. (9) [repeat of the digits 54] What is happening. (10) [a quotation mark in place of comma] Someone messed up real bad. (11) [final digits are c2ef46, cut off] Someone messed up real bad and I hope it wasn’t me.

I would simply debate the One Ring and win the argument with my superior rhetorical skills, thus cleansing it of the dark lord Sauron's magic, and so then in place of a dark lord there would be a queen, not dark but beautiful and terrible as the dawn, treacherous as the sea, stronger than the founda

Multiple renditions of a red-haired maid character, named Lillie.
The middle one has the character wink to the viewer while performing a curtsey.
The top left one is a side profile, with her hands put together.
The top right one has the character wearing glasses whose lenses got fogged up due to carrying tea.
The bottom left one has the character take a bite from a frikandelbroodje, a sausage-like snack from the Netherlands.
The bottom right one has the character smile with an open mouth, both eyes are closed and the character is holding up v/peace signs with both hands.

and what constitutes a "shove"?

and how many shoves have you already gone through without noticing?

the final Alt-Right Playbook is now live.

it's called The South Bank of the Rubicon.

The best historical artefacts are the accidental ones that freeze a moment in time forever.

I thought I’d try to find all the times pets have ruined their owner's day and recorded that instant for all of history.
