JoΓ£o on stage promoting the open space at #AgileTD
If you are at #AgileTD, do feel free to propose a session for this yearβs open space with @jrosaproenca.bsky.social and @alexschl.bsky.social.
It doesnβt matter if you want to present something or simply discuss a topic, just post it on Slack π

This is also correct in theory
What gets me: your ticket instantly becomes generally valid when your connection is no longer possible. So the check makes me feel like *I'm* to blame when I'm not.
And since I only use this feature when my journey is obvs not going to plan, it's salt in the wound.

An app feature that really pisses me off:
On the train app, when your connection is no longer feasible (due to delays), it offers you the option to search for alternatives. So far so good.
When you choose one, it reminds you to check if your ticket is valid on the new connection (1/2)

The nicest thing I've learned this week is that I have pretty eyes.
After 42 years of either seeing them from behind glasses, hardly seeing them without or seeing them with contact lenses.... I saw them clearly in the mirror yesterday. They're pretty π

Despite all my knowledge about systems, failure and testing, I would probably visit Jurassic Park.

It's amazing and very strange! My eyes are easily overstimulated at the moment and before bed I feel I need to take my contacts out π
I do need to get 1+ reading glasses (this was known in advance and one of the reasons I had the surgery before I need to move to bifocals)

Current status: enjoying the world with 100% vision (short sightedness completely corrected) thanks to artificial lense implants on Wednesday. I was very nervous before the operation, but it was fine! The last days have been spent putting various eye drops in and sometimes wearing sunglasses π

A woman with her arm over the side of a boat with the ocean in the background
A dolphin underwater
Well today was lovely π seeing the sun rise over the red sea, snorkeling with fish, seeing all the colours of blue, and swimming alongside dolphins (no touching, no going too close).

Does he tell all genders that achieving c level is impressive?
I ummed and ahhed about posting this. I second guess whether I'm overthinking. That too, costs energy. Gr.

1.The person that cold called me asking for Mr Schladebeck. I said he'd reached Ms, he said 'perhaps you're the right person'. When he asked if I was the manager of bredex, I said:yes, but I was disappointed he hadn't researched my gender before calling. He hung up 1/2
